I struggled to finish the first book and will not continue with the series. I never saw one redeeming quality to understand why the h would stay with him.

Claire was week and spineless taking metal, physical and emotional abuse and accepting blame for the abuse.Īnthony was a prick. The last 1% was the only thing good about the book. It has FIFTY FIVE chapters and about 40 of them are completely inconsequential. Lastly, this book was never ending and lasted far, FAR too long. Also, she had ample opportunities to escape and didn't bother. Anthony does HORRIBLE criminal things to her and I'll omit her eventual reaction to avoid spoilers but I was appalled. How can a psychopath be that uninteresting? I don't know but he's got nothing on Claire. Anthony is completely flat, which is pretty darn hard to pull off considering he's a psychopath. Secondly, the characters are flat, unrealistic, and don't behave in ways that actual humans would. This makes for horrible flow and pulls you out of the narrative because it's odd and disconcerting. Characters, especially Anthony, don't often use contractions in their dialogue. Here's whyįirst thing I noticed is that the dialogue is stilted and robotic. Where do I start? This book is awful in my opinion. Her recollections have one common denominator,Aleatha Romig,Consequences,Xlibris,1465341889,Thrillers - General,FICTION Thrillers General,Fiction,Fiction - Espionage Thriller,Thrillers Consequences Aleatha Romig 9781465341884 Books Reviews Besieged by memories of a brutal abduction, Claire Nichols wakes in an unfamiliar bedroom, within a luxurious mansion. Romig has never been wronged in her life, but for those of us who have, you never, ever fall in love with your rapist. I don't care how you sow it, the idea is just offensive. I'm not looking for poetry in women's fiction, but (spoiler alert) the notion of a rape victim falling in love with the man who brutalized her? No thank you. Her inability to use pronouns is enough to cross my eyes. Romig clearly needs a refresher in remedial English. The writing quality is poor and the plot absurd.

Finally, I hated it so much that I gave in. I forced my way through only part of this book. Consequences Aleatha Romig 9781465341884 Books Download As PDF : Consequences Aleatha Romig 9781465341884 Books Consequences Aleatha Romig 9781465341884 Books
